• Preparing premises strategies and Strategic Services Development Plans (SSDPs)
• Managing the process of finding, designing, financing and building new primary care premises and writing the business cases
• Involvement in the development of the new guidance for primary care premises that has replaced HBN36 (the red book) and the Statement of Fees and Allowances (SFA).
• Assisting PCTs with procurement issues, including leading the procurement process for new capital investments on behalf of PCTs in line with European and UK procurement laws.
• Arranging formal and informal consultation arrangements for the delivery of new services.
